Alberto, 36 years old, began his fascination with cooking in the kitchen of the family restaurant in Venice at the age of sixteen. Alberto’s Nonna and the whole family would always have pots on the stove, something was always simmering away, it was the culture he grew up in.
Although hard to leave his family he travelled the world for 5 years cooking his way through Europe, Australia and America. Returning to Australia in 2015 and working at Café Botanical in Geelong.
It’s not hard to see Alberto’s Italian heritage and his family passion for cooking in every dish he serves. His favourite food is seafood, so why not stop by and try one of our seafood dishes.
